While LeNS has been a valuable tool in the past for tracking patient activity
such as ER visits, admissions, and discharges, we are now encouraging the use
of eNotifications through Ontario MD HRM (Health Report
Manager). eNotifications provides much of the same information as LeNS
provides, however delivered directly and efficiently to your EMR. This
makes LeNS largely redundant.

As we continue discussions about retiring LeNS, the preferred approach is to
transition to eNotifications if you have an EMR. If this is not an
option, ClinicalConnect can provide easy access to real-time census lists and
patient records from acute care facilities in Southwestern Ontario.
